LEAGUE FUNDRAISER GOAL FOR 2025: $30,000
PURPOSE
For the first year ever, Campbell Little League will be hosting a Hit-a-Thon as our primary fundraiser to raise funds to improve our facilities. The event will be held on Sunday March 30, 2025 at Campbell Little League fields. Please come out to cheer on all the players and support us.
CLL aims to improve its facilities and provide the best overall Little League experience for our players and families. To make some major improvements, CLL seeks funding beyond registration fees and sponsorships.
Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing support of our players is truly appreciated. We look forward to an amazing season!
Your donations will help pay for the following short term upgrades:
- Electrical panel and electrical updates
- Upgrades to Farm/Rookie/T-Ball fields as allowed by Rosemary Elementary
- New level graded dirt Infield for Major and Minors
- New grass in the Outfield with drainage, new sod and leveled
In addition, our long term upgrades (multiple fundraising years) includes:
- Full synthetic Majors and Minors Field
- Synthetic Major and Minors infield
HOW IT WORKS
Prior to Hit-A-Thon Day
- In February, all players will be emailed a link to CLL’s 99Pledges Hit-a-Thon once teams are formed.
- Players have up until Hit-a-Thon day to obtain sponsors (flat donations or 'per foot' donations).
- If every player collects $100, CLL will have $30,000.
- Managers and Coaches and will amplify the Hit-A-Thon fundraiser at practices.
- Prizes can also be won if you are a top fundraiser. Details for prizes to be announced soon!
Hit-A-Thon Day
- Players are encouraged to participate and support their fellow teammates.
- Donations are welcome and help the League, but they are not required for participation.
- No money is collected or turned in on Hit-A-Thon Day.
- Each team should wear game uniforms and bring their bats/helmet/cleats for the event.
- Each team will receive an arrival time and field time. Teams should arrive on time at designated field/dugout.
- All players will get 5 chances to hit off a Tee as far as they can. The furthest ball will be recorded for “per foot” donation calculation.
- Each players distances will be inputted into the 99Pledges within a week of the Hit-a-Thon.
After Hit-A-Thon Day
- All cash or check donations for "per foot" must be received by the Events Coordinator ([email protected]) by April 25th
- All other donations must be submitted via 99Pledges by April 21 to count towards prizes.
- Any contributors who donated via 99Pledges will automatically be charged after the longest distance is recorded in the website.
- Prizes will be given to Team Managers and/or Team Parents in mid May.
HOW TO COLLECT DONATIONS
If each player collects $100, we will reach our goal!
We are excited to streamline the donation and outreach process. CLL players will be able to reach out to friends and families electronically by email, Facebook, and Twitter. Additionally, donors can donate to support with a simple and secure online transaction.
Players will receive an invitation email from 99Pledges to participate in the 2025 Hit-A-Thon for Campbell Little League. The website will allow players to easily solicit pledges and donations.
Is the donation tax deductible?
ABSOLUTELY! Campbell Little League is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax-deductible. (Federal Tax ID # 94-2637257).
We encourage parents to also check with their employers if they match community and non-profit donations!
